U.S. College Relations Programs
Genzyme’s College Relations Program is designed to attract talented students with strong academic performance from diverse backgrounds into a variety of project based, temporary assignments. We offer internships or co-op assignments in various U.S. based facilities for undergraduate and graduate college degree students, including MS, MA, MBA, etc. While many of our opportunities exist in the life science disciplines, we offer opportunities for students in other areas of our business such as supply chain management, engineering, information technology, business development, regulatory affairs, etc. We seek students who are innovative thinkers, team players and self motivated. In our commitment to seeking the best individuals, we attract students from academic institutions across the globe. The result is an integrated student team with diverse perspectives and backgrounds working together to improve the lives of patients. At Genzyme, our values create a work environment and culture that demonstrates collaboration, innovation, integrity and more…
The mission of our College Relations Program is to provide students with a shared learning experience that includes: hands-on work experience, corporate briefings, facility tours and social networking opportunities. Genzyme employees work with college students during their internships and co-op assignments to provide opportunities for skill building, guidance and informal mentoring. Our students have enjoyed working as valued members of the team and learning from some of the industry leading experts. As summer students, work experience is combined with a summer seminar series to provide students with a balanced learning experience. Our internship and co-op programs establish internal relationships while assisting students to become qualified candidates for full-time positions upon graduation.
